## bRIEF INTRODUCTION

This is a student project I hosted which is supported by the "University Students Innovation and Entrepreneurship Plan of Beijing City". There are 3 students in a group, and I'm the team leader.

## what i did

First of all, we chose the topic of primary mathematics course. And we divided the content in to 3 categories, geometric bodies, calculation problems and simple probability.

We did instructional design, script design, model realization respectively.

We also did empirical study to test the validity of this application in a primary school in Shandong Province.

## Meeting problem |
This is an example of calculation problems. The two cars at each end of a road runs at different speeds, and the question to students is "How long does it take for the two cars to meet each other?" Usually, It's hard for primary school students to imagine such backgrounds, we knew this from discussion and interview of primary school mathematics teachers. This animation gives students a framework of how the background is virtually. Then they could work out the problem more easily. |

## block game |
The recognization of geometric bodies is a main part of primary school mathematics learning. So we designed this application to give primary students a platform to play virtual blocks in real environment with AR technology. Each marker stands for a different geometric body including cone, cylinder, cube, ball, etc. Student could use these markers to construct simple models they like, such as a house, a robot, etc. |
