CONvex lens imaging experiment
This is an AR-based experiment tool, which enables students to conduct the convex imaging experiment with only the markers.
what i did
In this research project, we optimized the algorithm of markers recognization step of AR system. Besides, I'm responsible for the instructional design of this application.
We also did empirical study in Nankai Foreign Language School in Tianjin City, I participated in the questionnaire design and statistics analysis as well.
In additional to the features of AR technology itself, we concluded other 3 special aspects of this AR tool.
- Firstly, we provide the opportunity for each student to conduct this experiment on their own without the need to purchase everyone a set of facilities.
- If we do this experiment in real context, we have to keep the candle always lit, which is unsafe and inconvenient.
- Other irrelevant factors such as air condition and light condition are removed.
